Known for Grievances, his debut novel, Darius continues to explore new dimensions of storytelling in this second book—a departure in genre, yet connected by the same sense of depth and discovery. Drawing inspiration from African-American folklore, lived experience, and the mysteries that shape everyday life, he creates stories that are both cinematic and soulful. Darius Smith resides in Richmond, VA, where he continues developing new projects across film and literature.
